Why is it more acceptable for a women to disrespect a man than a man to disrespect a woman?

It is because of chivalry, political correctness, and feminism. We are living in a world that is heavily revolve around women - where women are place very high on the pedestal and are given many special perks - as a result it is completely acceptable for women to be sexist, abusive, and bigoted toward men but not the other way around. Women are being protected by political correctness but men aren't.

Honestly most of us men are not so easily intimidated by a woman slapping us or name calling. We consider the source and walk away.

Men really do have the option to use the power of reason. However by their very nature some women are unreasonable.

Society recognizes that subtle difference and holds men accountable while giving those women without self control a protected status .

Perhaps because so few men complain about it. Feel free to say "that is so sexist" when the situation calls for it. It might make people stop and think.

As for the slapping thing - it is an assault. But being a woman, I'd automatically think back to the only time I have ever wanted to slap a man - when I was groped on a train. I'd probably automatically think that she slapped him in self defense.

I know that this wrong - as shown in a link yesterday to a McDonald's employee who was slapped by a customer. We all need education.

Feel free to educate and to say so when things are wrong.

Hobgoblin: No one saw the groping - it was secretly done. I would just have appeared like a mad woman. And actually, it isn't appropriate to retaliate. I should have tripped him up and sat on him, until the police arrived. Slapping him would have solved nothing. As it is, he is still out there, groping women because I didn't think fast enough.

the problem is women don't respect men because we give them too much respect for being disrespectful.

When a man is in a club he can see this very clearly as woman are hostile to mens advances. And even though these guys are being disrespected they continue to go after these women. This has made women in this country very unlikeabe as when they want something they start being disrespectful to men to get it. This is why when a man speaks about "respect" they laugh because they know that only men have to be respectful. They don't yet they get it everywhere anyway...I'm sure most men did not notice this until i pointed it out

they think men need to conform to and agree to their belief system regardless in order to be respectful. This is why men have forfeited their pride in order to be ladies men. But these particular men are not ladies men they are what i refer to in my study as "pussymen"

Everything with them is being a victim, being slighted, harassed, not appreciated, not treated like a "lady". Not around men who are nice enough(the oldest lie in the book).They're picking on me. He hates me. He disrespected me. Why did he say that? etc, etc, etc... This sympathy edge is designed to get you to succumb to their game.

men need to stop handing respect away on a silver platter. Because the result of such is to give more respect.They need to stop rewarding her with gifts for being rude and make her earn her respect like everyone else. Because the destruction of marriage and relationships in the United States in this day and age is not the fault of the man. Certainly not.

because some (not all) women want equality in rights, but not in the consequences and responsibilities. It's like equality that suits them better than a man. To me, if it's a joke slap i don't care, if it hurt a little i let it slide, but it it's intentional, i won't let them slap me

Both genders disrespect each other in different ways where one is acceptable for this gender but not acceptable for that gender.

Men disrespect women in tons of other ways:

Men disrespect, degrade, and insult women all the time simply for being women.

Men insult women for enjoying sex- sl*t, whore.

Men insult women by placing a woman's value in her youth, beauty, and sexual chastity. When men brag about their gf/wive it's about how young she is, how young she looks, how pretty she is, and how virginal she is. It's those three things that make a woman have value to men and without them she's seen as worthless and less than.

Men insult women for trying to be like a man just because she wants to make her own money.

Men insult women for not placating to them- b*tch, feminist, feminazi, lesbo, dyke.

In fact to most men just being a man means disrespecting women because most men think they are the superior gender and women are inferior.

Men can make a big fuss about a d*ck chopping used for comedy yet when women make a fuss about rape used for comedy they're being humorless feminists.

Women have a few actions and laws on their side when disrespecting men. Men have a complete mindset, culture, and society on their side when disrespecting women.
