Auto mechanical question?

I'm changing a leaf spring on my truck. I have the new one in place, bolted at the rear, u-bolts back in place. My question is what can I do (or how) to make the front end come down to allow me to slide the bolt into place? If I jack the truck back up to take the weight off, the leaf spring curves upward and the hole won't align. It needs the weight on it for the leaf spring to align.

I don't know if I should have bolted the front first, or there is some trick to this. Any info would be appreciated.

Geico has a coverage for that, i've got by no skill appeared into pricing for it nevertheless. in case you may cope with to pay for it it is sturdy to have reason you may by no skill get ripped off. the automobile mechanic surely has to tutor to them what's incorrect inclusive of your automobile and tell them what they ought to repair it and Geico does not screw around with a mechanic that makes up crap. i'm speaking approximately ordinary maintenance, no longer twist of destiny appropriate. It additionally covers the cost of a condominium automobile whilst your automobile is being repaired.
