I need to fix a leak at a shower drain . It's leaking around the outside of the drain which tells me it's the membrane. Is there a product that seals the membrane if I patched it in around the drain about 12" square?

I'm changing a leaf spring on my truck. I have the new one in place, bolted at the rear, u-bolts back in place. My question is what can I do (or how) to make the front end come down to allow me to slide the bolt into place? If I jack the truck back up to take the weight off, the leaf spring curves upward and the hole won't align. It needs the weight on it for the leaf spring to align.

I don't know if I should have bolted the front first, or there is some trick to this. Any info would be appreciated.

I am a contractor and have used poly, and shellac on interior furniture I've made, but this is outside. In galveston Co. in Texas, so there will be some salt air to factor in as well as Houston pollution. Thanks for the input

It stays in the same location and the dryer will run until it is physically turned off. Additional info would be that it has become difficult to turn. It is a 2yr old Maytag. Thanks

I have a damaged piece of laminate flooring in the middle of the room. How can I replace it, so it is secure, without pulling floor from the outside wall back to that spot?
