No
if you claim JSA, your mum needs to inform child benefits to stop it
or she'll end up having to pay it all back.
You get JSA with your N.I. number, and then HMRC are informed so that's why your mum has to stop the child benefit as you're 19.
if you're in f/t education you can't claim job seekers allowance
however if your course is under 16 hours a week and classed as p/t
you may be able to get JSA

u cant get child benefit and job seekers for the same person. if ur in part time education u are not classfied as being able to work so are not entitled to JSA

You can get jobseekers, but it might be lowered because you're in education (by the rules, you must be available for FULL TIME work).
Child benefit stops when you turn 18. If your parents still get it for you, they really shouldn't be.

you wont be able to claim both. Child benefit would have stopped at 18 and when you go onto JSA you have to actively look for work and prove you are doing so

Hi
You are not entitled to JSA Child benefit ends at 16.
You would not get child benefit your paretns/guardians get it.
You are also responsible for Council Tax so I suggest you go and get the relevant forms, or your parents need to add you to their forms.
