rugby remote control car?

Beginning to think I dreamt this now as so many people are doubting me but I seem to remember not too long ago that professional rugby matches in England used to use a remote control car to bring something onto the pitch ?

Can anyone confirm this and possibly provide proof to back it up ?

The remote control cars are still used in the southern hemisphere for bringing on kicking tees/sand for the kickers.

Some say it was introduced to keep kicking coaches off the field, as to why they got rid of it, I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the UK winter might have something to do with it!

I remember summat like that as well, tried the search engine but nothing yet, but I do believe you aint dreaming.

now found it :- The ball is kicked from a static position on a tee on the ground, the tee was traditionally a small pile of sand used to steady the ball, rubber tees are now used (and often brought onto the pitch in big matches using a remote control car as part of an advertising agreement).
