C&A Batman fans: What do you think about the upcoming Batman cartoon in 2013?
Personally, I am/was a huge fangirl of Batman: The Animated Series, and the following Batman cartoons really didn't compare to that. I haven't even watched much of Brave and the Bold. But according to wikipedia this new series will *not* focus on the Joker but use other villians, and Batman will have a sidekick named Katana. Also, it will be directed by Glen Murakami.
I'm not sure how I feel about not having the Joker, although I know he's been done to death. (Although if they do use him, I hope they use Mark Hamill)
I'm also not sure about his new sidekick. Meh? Or the artwork.
Does anyone have a link that has more artwork from this upcoming show?

I liked the Batman animated series. I also enjoy Batman: The Brave and the Bold (Batman teams up with the lesser known heroes).
It's too early to judge, but I would not like to see Alfred shooting guns in the streets of Gotham. The comic books have shown Batman to have an aversion to guns, because his parents were gunned down. As I recall Katana was in the Outsiders, a group that Batman started a long time ago.
I like that they will use Batman's other villains, and not just keep recycling the same old ones.
I haven't seen any other artwork for this.
