Do the occupy Wall Street people have specific goals, or is their protesting more of an activity and an event?

They want two things as far as I can see.

They want the bankers and the CEOs on Wall Street to open up their books and see where the money has gone or going when it comes to the bail outs that the government gave them.

Also they want to have those in the banks and Wall Street to give them everything that they want. This means that the government takes care of them even with out them doing anything to earn it. Purest form of Socialism. Rather than having to work for it. This also includes erasing all loans that the different students have in college.

It is a demonstration of how many people are fed up with corrupt business subverting government. It is an invitation to start restoring the country to its rightful owners prior to the necessity of a revolution.

Thus far, the response has been dismally uninformed with threats of violence against people exercising their first amendment rights, rather than even a faithless promise to reform.

I haven't seen anything concrete to make me think there is some definite solution they are waiting for in order for them to just go home. Many different comments and different signs all show frustration and complaints but yet there is nothing that I can say they ALL truly want to have happen.

What are they expecting?

I think the protestors have specific goals, but they differ from protestor to protestor. However, that doesn't diminish the fact they all have a common goal of protesting the collusion between Wall Street and D.C. and the destructive policies that have arisen from it.

Not sure what their ultimate goal is other than showing dissatisfaction with current system and bank /big corporation greed.Should be about jobs.

Reminds me of the "be ins" of the 60's.

The tea party just made them feel left out....its great entertainment though, the interviews w/these people are hillarious, hollywood couldn't have scripted it any better lol

well, their goal is not theirs, but of those who control them.

The goal is to distract public opinion from the gunrunner fast and furious scandal! hot scandal! very hot!!!
