With regards to Laura Marling, I mean her later stuff, on I Speak Because I Can and A Creature I Don't Know. I like Alas, just not as much as her newer stuff.
I also am not a fan of Noah and the Whale or Mumford & Sons (they're alright but I'm not crazy about them).

I love no one more than Johnny Flynn and Laura Marling is a close second. If you don't like Mumford or Noah, try Marcus Foster, Sam Bradley and Bobby Long. All British.
Bobby is on tour right now as is Laura. I saw her a couple weeks ago and Bobby is coming in November. ALl of them are great song writers as well.
