dont you think hbk-taker wrestlemania feuds(not the matches) was quite overrated?
now let me get this straight hbk had participated in 12 wrestlemania matches since 1992(before wrestlemania 25).all the matches so incredible clearly stole the show.but hbk only managed to win only 5 matches.out of these 5, two came from wm 22 and wm 24 against non wrestler mr mcmahon and 60 years old semiretired ric flair.his victory against bret hart in wm 12 came at overtime in an iron man match, not so credible to marks.he almost lost all matches in their 3 year long feud with triple h.he did't even get some decent title run before the feuding with taker.on the countray we saw he had been fighting in 'all or nothing' matches with jbl to save his legacy from being handed over to billionaire jbl,so vulnerable storyline position!! by the way wrestling is scripted but after seeing this all why should a typical mark take hbk such a serious threat to takers legacy?dont u think the character of hbk should had been given much potentials to make the feud look more interestling, undertaker also shold have won the eec match at no way out(2009) instead of hhh.by losing to hhh cleanly at the previous ppv taker also lose some credibility.next year(wrestlemania 26) hbk-taker feud storyline imo was one of stupidest and dumbest of alltime.why should michaels need to beat the streak when he almost quit wrestling to be a cook!! hbk even tapped out to rookie cody rhodes at a late 2009 ppv,so weak himself by storyline!how, can he beat the taker from this?hhh, batista, orton, edge and others were always portrayed with strong characteristics before facing taker at wrestlemania in their respective feuds.but hbk-taker wrestlemania storylines was so lame!!!but when the match starts u can forget everything elso as they are so good in the ring.so the bottomline is great matches and pointless storylines.
i again tell u that hbk-taker delievered two of the greatest matches of alltime in two wrestlemania consecutively.i just think the storylines sux properly and someone should be turned heel to make it more interesting.

Hell no. Shawn Michaels might be made look weak a few times to put over younger stars. But, that doesn't mean he's weak. I agree going into WM 25 and WM 26, HBK doesn't look strong, but HBK's one of the most dominant force in sporst entertainment.
HBK might not be dominant using his strength, but it's his HEART. HBK has the biggest HEART in WWE History, nobody can even come close. You have to half kill him to beat him. Look, how The Undertaker beat him, Taker needs Chokeslam, Last Ride, Hell's Gate and two Tombstones. Taker only need 1 single chokeslam to beat Hogan in 2002, remember???
Don't you remember HBK has defeated (no matter he wins, a win is a win) some of the biggest Legends in WWE History : Mankind, Bret Hart (twice), Triple H (three times), and even The Undertaker himself (twice). HBK also had victories over giants : Razor Ramon, Batista, Kane, Vader, Diesel, Sycho Sid, etc.
HBK also beat Chris Jericho countless times. He has also AVENGED his loss to Kurt Angle, by pinning him CLEAN at Vengeance 2005. Not to mention, Shawn Michaels has also pinned John Cena CLEAN on Raw 2007 1 hour match. How can you say a man who beat the current Face Of Company NOT STRONG???
How in the hell you say a man with so many victories over big names NOT STRONG?
If you say HBK isn't strong enough, then how about Triple H? Triple H has lost 3 straight WMs and including tapping out to Benoit and Cena. Triple H even lost to mid card Shelton Benjamin and Jeff Hardy. Even worse Triple H has ever been beaten by Eugene and Jim Ross. How about that???? And you say Orton made strong before WM 21? Are you kidding? Randy Orton had been buried by Triple H from September 2004-Royal Rumble 2005, check the facts. Edge also can't beat Rey Mysterio clean before WM 24. Does that make Edge look strong?
HBK isn't weak at all, he's a pretty dominant force. He has beaten some of the biggest names in WWE History. He also won the first ever IronMan, HIAC, and Elimination Chamber matches. He's also the first ever Grand Slam Champion and two time Royal Rumble winner. And like I mentioned he held victories over : Bret Hart, The Undertaker, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Batista, and John Cena. That's such great accomplishments. It's only the time going into his WM feud with Taker that he doesn't look strong.

It can't be overrated. There should be an option for "rated correctly". Their feuds are everything you should want in a wrestling match. People can talk until they are blue in the face about how it was just a bunch of finishers and stalling. This match proves a move set isn't nearly as important if you are given a good amount of time to perform. The entire match was drama, to the T. Expect the same this year. It is close to the top of the list as far as best matches I've ever seen. 20 years of wrestling I've watched, plus the stuff before my time, and I've never been into a match like I was for that one. The match is rated exactly how it should be. I pick underrated just b/c the only other option is overrated, which it can't be.
I don't understand the hate toward their feud. It's another prime example of the IWC having to hate things just to do it. There is no reason to dislike their feud or storyline. There were old school matches that showcased just why Taker and Shawn should be considered the two best superstars WWE has ever had. Forget Austin, Rock, or Hogan. Taker and Shawn have been doing it for over 20 years now, with one company, and are still good enough to be considered top level talent. While they have slowed down alot, take alot of time off, they can deliver when it is needed. WM last year is a testament to this. I love this match and I am always enticed to their feuds..

Hell no.
The Undertaker-Michaels feud in the 90s was great, yet, we always had 2 things involved: Michael's ego and interference, either from DX or from Kane.
This time around, the matches at WM 25 and 26 were two of the greatest matches in the history of professional wrestling, even in my opinion, surpassing the inaugural Hell in a Cell Match with Michaels and Taker.
They had the hype, it involved two of the biggest superstars in the history of the WWE, it was a legit finish, it was Taker's streak, it was the ego of Michael's, it was the career of Michaels. Both men pulled out all the stops, Tombstone after Tombstone, Super Kick and Super Kick, they kept the watcher at the edge of their seats the entire time.
