how to I get my laptop to stop zooming in/out?

I have a Toshiba Satellite C655 w/ Windows 7 and some how, if you hold the touch pad and move right it will zoom in or out. I have not been able to duplicate this when trying but it does it all the time. It is really annoying and I abosolutly hate it, so I atleast wana know how to do it so I can get it back to the right zoom. I would like to know how to turn it off since it is so annoying.

Settings for TouchPad are in Start, Control Panel - Mouse (there might be several tabs with TouchPad

entries) and some have a utility that loads in Notification Area near clock on lower right.

Remove the check for pinch/zoom, and/or any other zoom/swipe functions.

on the right side and bottom of the touchpad are scroll/zoom zones. I do this all the time. You can into the control panel, touchpad (most are called synaptics) and disable this feature.
