You can do that but don't ETS out of the Navy then try to join the Army. About a year out go see the Army recruiters and start working the transition. If you get out of the Navy you are then prior service and prior service anything is finding it a serious byotch to get back in, even their own former branch.

You didn't say you were "in" the Navy at the moment but in any case start working it before you get out or you will be sorry. My son who usd to be in the Navy found out the hard way.

When you finish your enlistment, walk into an Army recruiters office and tell them you want in.
