What rug to use? (20 characters)?
Clipping my horse tomorrow (hunter clip, everything off except legs) so what rug do you think I should use that night, got long neck fleece / 100g standard neck rug / 250g standard neck rug / 360g full neck rug, can't decide what rug or combination would be best. He's a shire x gypsy vanner and according to weather it's going to be 8C.

At 8 degrees, you want a thin under rug and a lightweight stable rug as that is fairly warm weather.
As the temp has suddenly dropped this past week and you're taking it all off, then I would go with something with a neck.
Remember - one big rug doesn't keep them warm. Layers are best.

I've never cared for a fully clipped horse, my girl is only trace clipped, but I would guesstimate the fleece AND 100g, or the 250g.
It does depend on the lot of factors. Check your horse. Put your hand under the rug to see if they are sweaty. Also check the ears. If the tips are hot the horse is too hot. If the base is cold the horse is too cold.

I think full neck rug as it is going to be quite cold, if it ends up being warmer use the 250g standard
