What do you think should be humanity's greatest goal?

I think humanity's greatest goal should be to know God and then to love our neighbors as our self. If we were to do those two things we would all be happier.

Each person can live up to their full potential if they strive for it. Everyone has the means to do so. It is call a drive for a better life. The fact is some have more opportunities than others but that shouldn't hold anyone back. We hear people all the time who are very very successful and had no money, some no education and they set out to achieve their goals and make a better life and they did it.

My faith in God influences everything that I do and how I do it.

To all live in peace. Equality for all. Although I do believe in God, I kind of agree with the whole get rid of religion thing just because most of the wars that have been fought in our entire existence were over religion. So yeah I would love to live in a world where people are kind to each other. So much has to change here though. As a planet we're kind of in the toddler stage. Makes sense if you think about it. Lol I hope I get to see this world come together and do something real beautiful in my lifetime... I'm feeling pretty hopeful about that. :)

God created humans to live on earth in peace and have everlasting life. (Genesis 1:28) Unfortunately, because of man's disobedience and disrespect to their Father and Creator the world is in the state it is. It's like a family. If parents teach their children what is right and wrong, but the children decide to rebel and go against them, the peace in the family is over. I believe the greatest goal is to please our Heavenly Father and to live according to his commandments. If everyone did that, the world would be a better place and there would be peace as it was meant to be.

To know the Truth that sets one free. Without that one is not free and cannot express the highest potential of being. Those who have come to set the example of man's highest state of being should be studied, pondered, followed, emulated and honored in a constant awareness of their power and Grace. One will not find these souls if one is not looking nor will they recognize them if they are caring to see. While we are immersed in the world of the senses we cannot even discover there is a goal higher than getting comfort, getting laid, getting even, getting, getting, getting power, position, wealth.... it is endless.

The goal opens before those who have discovered that the world cannot satisfy the soul.

To worship the Lord God through the Lord Jesus Christ. This would enable people to be able, with God's help, to reach their full potential. It is written that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and if we apply the greatest commandment to love one another, we can do great things for God first, then mankind. We are in a losing battle if we think that we can solve the world's problems with our ways without the influence of the Lord in our lives. If we commit our ways to the Lord we will have success; without him in our lives, well, we see what a mess this world is in, as the world has attempted to do it themselves without his help.

I think the greatest goal would be world peace, although that is either far into the future, or impossible. I would rather have world peace than be rich. Every time I complain to myself, or envy someone because I want something more, I feel very greedy, since they are many people who envy people that have it much worse than me. Religion does absolute nothing to promote world peace, and I dislike it very much.

I think the greatest goal should be for the power of love to overcome the love of power (and then the world will know peace).

To live together on the planet in peace.

Once that happens, it will be much easier for everyone to "live up to their full potential."

Colonize new planets. At the rate that humanity is growing on our current one we will exhaust all our resources and go extinct. Our only hope is to find plenty of land elsewhere and make it habitable.
