Ear Force PX5 Programmable Wireless 7.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound Headset with Bluetooth is my first gaming headset. I based my decision on the feedback left here on amazon and turtle beach website. I think these are incredible the soundis amazing. Worth every penny. I have it lnked to my cell when gaming so when my mom calls me ( she's long winded) I'm gaming hearing the sounds of gunfire and she doesent hear a thing lol. Great buy, no issues with reception, my px5 is next to my wreless Verizon router. No issues. You get what you pay for.

couple user-friendly rules to persist with in audio. Headphones and a separate mic will beat a gaming headset each time. if it says: FATAL1TY turtle coastline tritton gaming Then its junk. If its USB its junk if it says its 5.a million or 7.a million encompass sound... its a gimmick and its junk. on your funds get some JVC HARX seven-hundred headphones and a Zalman clip on mic. would be lots lots extra advantageous than ANY gaming headset.

yes. very few things are capable of producing 7.1 regardless of what they advertise.
I have tritton ax720 and i love them. i got them for $120 which is a great price to me because i can use them for the 360 & ps3. they're dolby digital 5.1.
