R&P: What are your favourite space rock songs/artists?
They can have space-rock themes, a space rock sound. It doesn't really have to be massive or anything, it can be an underlying theme or it can just have a space rock sound to it, etc. So what are your favourite space rock songs/ artists?
BQ: Favourite song by Muse?
BBQ: 2001: A Space Odyseey or Star Wars: A New Hope?
twilight sparkle: well I'm looking for a space-rock sound specifically in the genre, if that makes sense. Oh well okay.
yeah that's kind of what I'm looking for. Metal or rock, any of those two genres.
thanks Harvey for those links, liked what I listened to :)
Oh rnrstar, so sorry for making you decide between those films. Thanks for those songs, I plan to look them up :)

The only band that comes to mind when I thing Space Rock is Hawkwind. In terms of space themed music, anything off Ziltoid the Omniscient or Ayreon's Universal Migrator albums.
BQ: Resistance
BBQ: Tough call, but Star Wars.

BBQ: Oh God don't make me do this...I love them both. Star Wars: A New Hope is my third favorite Star Wars film behind Empire Strikes Back and Revenge Of The Sith. 2001: A Space Odyssey is one of my favorite films of all time, once we get past the opening 20 minutes of monkeys. Even though it gets pretty cool when the first one to discover tools starts beating the others to death. I'm going to give it to 2001, but had you said either of my 2 favorite Star Wars, it'd be a different story. I could recite either film line-by-line without even watching them.
I love anything and everything that has to do with space.
