What is a good marinade for a sand hill crane to get the fishy taste out.?

Use sea salt water !

It tastes like a really tall chicken.

We had a turkey for thanksgiving one year that smelled and tasted just like fish. My dad took it back to the market and complained. It turned out that EVERYONE who bought that brand that year took theirs back, too. The grower had been feeding the birds fish meal.

I don't think you CAN get the fishy taste out of a crane.

Why would you eat a crane in the first place.

But brine it first.

And choose a marinade that has ingredients you might use to complement fish.

use red wine, drink plenty of it
