What was the name of this Sci Fi movie?
I'm trying to find a movie on DVD, but can't remember the name of it.
It came out some years ago.
It is about some United States scientists that find a space craft on the floor of the ocean that has been there for a good while. As they explore it, they believe it is an alien space craft. But they discover that it is an United States space craft that crashed into the ocean and was from the future.
It is not The Abyss.

That movie is called "The Sphere" with Dustin Hoffman and Samuel L Jackson

Only thing I could think of is "The Abyss", but the plot is a bit different at the end.
