Jimmie needs a good run for sure. My fantasy is Mark Martin picks up Jimmie at the start and they run together and Mark wins with Jimmie right on his tail! That would make Mark happy and help Jimmie out too. Gordon and JR aren't going to do a thing and are a drag on my two favorite Hendrick guys. Next year Mark will be gone and I am glad, I hear Tony Stewart is picking him up and that would be a good match.
Jimmie, of course, will persevere as Jimmie does. He's the champ AND very good at mind games and also, staying calm. Along with driving exceptionally well he is quite a phenomena. I personally find him very likable although Mark Martin is my MAN! I just LOVE that tiny dynamo! Yes, I am a female and have a middle aged crush on Mark! LOL

No, I think he'll be in contention throughout the remainder of the season, but it is going to be very tough. He could literally win the rest of the races this year and still not be the champion. He really needs the people up front to have issues, which can happen at any race.

While I do consider Carl the favorite, you can't overlook Matt, Kevin, or Kyle. Carl and Matt both stink at Martinsville so I consider that their biggest title threat. And Kyle doesn't set the world on fire there either. But Carl will be good at Phoenix, Texas, and Homestead. This race at 'Dega is likely gonna be huge.

you can't assume that Cousin Carl is gonna win the championship. anything can happen in these last five races. Harvick Kenseth and Busch are all within striking distance.

Not really...... Each race carries the same number of points....... He could escape Talladega with a great finish and finish dead last next week........... Restrictor plate races usually favor the well-funded teams...... I expect the winner will come from RCR, Roush, or HMS........Anyone outside of those three teams would surprise me.

I'm thinking Jimmie needs to be on top of his game from here on out if he wants to save the streak. He doesn't have to win them all but he doesn't have any more mulligans left.

JJ is a sly little fox, as long as theirs chickens in the hen house his goal will be to captire another golden egg. Lol if that makes any sence.

Nope, JJ is real good at Martinsville, Phoenix. Texas. I doubt Carl will win the championship anyway, as its gonna be Harvick or Keselowski.
