i have just got a suzuki vitara 2l petrol, there is engine coolent driping from the exhaust?

this will be condensation and not water from the cooling system these engines are pron to this if it is from the cooling system the water level in the engine will have dropped and the engine will over heat the easy way to check this is start the engine let it idle until it reaches normal op temp on the gauge turn on the heater inside the car on the hot position and if it blows cold air you are lossing coolant and the head gasket has problaly gone there will clouds of white smoke (steam) coming from the exhaust good luck

When the engine first start, it is normal for water to come out of the exhaust. CO (carbon monoxide) mixed with Air (hydrogen) turned into H20. Your emission system is working.

Almost certainly condensation. If it was coolant that indicates a head gasket failure or worse, and that would show a major problem. If you have antifreeze in the colour should give you a clue
