2001 Ford Escape with 133,000 miles good deal?

I found a 2001 Ford Escape with 133,000 miles for $5,500. Is that a good deal? I am looking for my first car.

Lord no. That's way too much for that. Half that price would be a good deal.

it must be that your brake booster is going undesirable and this is using brake tension even whilst your no longer urgent the brake pedal. it is the sound you're listening to once you're actually not on the brake, this is the sound of the vacuum being generated via the engine. a thank you to check is to work out if the hissing gets lounder with the linked fee of the ENGINE (placed the motor vehicle in park and rev the engine). Brake boosters fee approximately $a hundred... possibly yet another $70 for setting up.

negotiate the price down a bit, around $4000 if u can.

when ur negotiating take in mind that its 10yrs old, its an SUV so it takes more gas, and in my state of CT we need to get our car fully inspected when buying if its 10+yrs old.
