should i try becoming a singer or something?

i have a good voice for music like one republic, u2, maroon 5, john mayer.. just chill stuff like that..

i have friends who play instruments like drums, electric guitars and i know plenty of people in bands i know tons of ppl like that.. ive just never sung or anything like that.. maybe i should try coming up with a song or something first before i go tell someone. i dont wanna be in a band or anything like that i just want to sing in bars.. although i tear up when i start singing for some reason.. its weird.. i always have ever since i was a kid. and im 18 now. id have to sing with glasses on lol what do you guys think i should do. no one around here is into music like that but i am should i just stick to singing with the radio or what cuz honestly idk. ive never really had any instrumental talent
