    you can separate the lim x->0 1/x + 1 into lim x->0 1/x + lim x->0 (1)

    As lim x->0 1/x = infinity, you can easily understand through the graph of 1/x;

    when x-> 0 ,the value of y goes infinity.

    and lim x -> 0 (1)=1

    so,

    infinity + 1 = infinity

    so the answer is infinity.

    infinity + 1 = infinity

    because,infinity is much more larger than 1,

    just as :if 1000+ 0.000000000000001,

    the answer is 1000.000000000000001,

    the 0.000000000000001 in 1000.000000000000001 is so small that we can ignore it.
