Should I join OWS and protest if I think my salary is too low?

The top 1% on the economic ladder continue to gain an increasingly larger portion of the income and wealth of the nation. The middle class continues to lose ground. If you look at the large picture then you should be concerned. The OWS protestors are concerned.

You should do some research to find out what the average salary for your job is.. The OWS protesters are doing more harm than good to their future and future employment.

If your employer is using political contributions to enforce a monopoly, allowing him to get away with a lower quality workforce and bust any attempt to unionize, keeping your salary below the fair market rate, then sure.

Otherwise, sure, you're welcome to join. If you don't understand what they're doing there, go and ask them about it. You'll learn something. But don't quit your job, just go in your off hours like most of them do except the ones who are unemployed or have jobs that they can do from anywhere.
