Could I be pregnant? Is the morning after pill safe?

So last night I made a huge mistake and had sex with my boyfriend without a condom. I know he has no STDs so don't worry about that, what I'm worried about is getting pregnant. I don't remember the last date of my period is was sometime between the 2nd and 13th of this month.

What are my chances of getting pregnant?

Another question I have is whether or not the morning after pill is safe for me to take, I'm on a bunch of different medicines and I only have one ovary. I can't talk to my mom about this I just want to know if it is safe before I ask the health center at school about it. I'm 16 btw.

Please answer my questions.

Without usually any form of contraceptive, effectiveness is 15% against pregnancy.

As for wither the morning after pill is safe for you, you can call the pharmacist at your local drug store and ask. The morning after pill is only effective for 72 hours after the intercourse in question. I'm sorry but you will have to ask a professional wither the pill is safe for you to take.

    Good luck.

    Hi there,

Your chances of becoming pregnant from sex without a condom if he ejaculates in you this month is pretty high--- too high to risk.

The morning after pill has not been around for very long, so it's hard to say what it's long term effects are. It is billed as safe, but it is a powerful drug. I would only recommend taking it under dire circumstances, and if your boyfriend ejaculated in you, that's what you've got right now. Take it.

In future, be sure to write down the day your period starts, and note how long your cycles usually are. This will help you to not take the morning after pill needlessly.

Everybody makes mistakes. Taking Plan B will be safer and less stressful than becoming pregnant.

    Best of luck.
