What are some riddles with more than one answer?
I'm writing a story and it just so happens that I made one of the characters pose a riddle with two equally correct answers. I'm wondering if there are any riddles that are like this, that have one answer that could work just as well as another. Thanks in advance.^^
Also, please be sure to include the answers with the riddle. Thanks very much.^^

You are in a room with 2 guards. One always lies and one always tells the truth(you don't know which is which). One door leads to death and one door leads to freedom. You can ask either guard only one question to find out which door leads to freedom. They won't stop you from leaving.
There are 2 answers to this; most people only know one. Scroll down for the answers:
Source(s): Answer 1. Ask either one: "Which door would the other guard say was the door to freedom?" The answer is a lie about the truth or the truth about a lie, so you take the other one. Answer 2. Ask either one: "What would YOU say if I asked you which was the door to freedom?" The answer is a lie about a lie, or the truth about a true answer, so you would take that door. - Anonymous10 years ago
