my brother bought me an hp printer for christmas lasy year i think the ink supply ran out?

how long does the trial in supply last normally in a new printer?is it easy to install ink cartridges in a printer?

    Life of ink cartridges depends on how much you print. Images and colored graphics can acquire more ink then plain texts in black.

    Basically, it depends on just how much you print. And as far as changing a ink cartridge, it is real easy. Just check your user guide
