The quick brown fox jumpS over the lazy dog, this is a typist phrase, it helps them learn to type and pick up their speed as it has all the letters of the alphabet.

Going back to your question the fox was after the chicken that had just crossed the road.

it's not the shortest sentance with each and every letter in it simply makes extra sence to sons and daughters than: Mr. Jock, T.V. Quiz Ph.D., baggage few lynx. (26) Blowzy night time-frumps vex'd Jack Q. (26) Glum Schwartzkopf vex'd by means of NJ IQ. (26) which use each and every letter of the alphabet 1ce and 1ce best. I learnt this one whilst i used to be at schoool: Pack my field with 5 dozen liquor jugs. (32) The speedy brown fox jumps over a lazy puppy (36) is such a lot usual for sons and daughters even though. wish that solutions your query

It really is supposed to be "jumpS" as in "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." There is your S.

Was it because he didn't like the letter S. This sentence contains all the letters in the alphabet apart from the letter S.

Source(s): I am sad enough to go through the entire sentence and look for letters that have been missed out. Or should I just say experience?
