    Funny you ask that one as I was just talking to an Ex Marine and his exploits during the 80s he was going to remove the gold from motherboards from Puters that he was going to buy from the USA.

    Only gig was the cost for setting up the shop and the chemicals was a lot so much so that that the profit would've been eaten up in the processing of the Gold.

    Most stuff like that is now done in China and India as there the labor is cheap and the chemicals are less and there is no OSHA.

    Yeah there is gold in the TVs yet the cost and the danger of the acid so be-careful

    Less than $100 at current prices

    As for the Marine he never did do it......
