It will only ignite when you tap the gas valve assembly, specifically next to the solenoid switch I believe. The igniter lights the pilot, and then it must be tapped. Thanks! It is a Richmond powervent with a robertshaw valve. I am wondering how to check the parts with multimeter

The electronic ignition produces a small flame until I tap the gas valve assembly, then the burner lights. lights. If I don t do this, the powervent will run constantly, and the heater will retain the small flame from the ignition. Sometimes it will work as normal for a few cycles. It is 7 years old. Thank You!

First the traction control, engine power reduction, and check engine light came on. It was not shifting into high gear, would barley run 70. I pulled over, shut it off, and it ran better and finially shifted into high. When I got off work, the engine light was the only one on and it ran great. It is 45 miles home, and by the time I shut it off a couple times in the driveway, all the lights were out. I restarted it a couple times and they are still out. I know I can't take it in unless the lights come back on. I never had that happen before. The gas cap seemed tight.

It is very slow responding, the little hour glass comes often when I scroll. The computer works ok other than that. thanks

Someone did a door ding on a very wendy day, and left. I have $1000 deductable on comprehensive. If they would file it under comprehensive, I would be better to take care of it myself. Am I wrong for thinking that uum will not cover because they cannot locate the other motorist? It is at LEAST a $500 dent. ty

Tomorrow is Sunday, and this guy is coming to look at my $15,000 car. It is a 2003 Marauder, a rare car in near mint condition. He said he took out the cash from the bank since it is Sunday. I am in Indianapolis, and he is coming from Chicago. I bought a marker that also has a uv light detector for the security thread. It is suppose to detect bleached bills. I replaced the old one a few weeks ago, and the hot water came out much faster. Now it has slowed down again.It is the only faucett that does this. thanks for any advice.

My battery was low from not driving, so when I jumped it the service column lock light came on. The steering wheel has never locked, so I think the recall has already been done. I have been able to drive it without the fuel pump shutting down. I just worry having the service light on. Any suggestions? Thank You!

A homemade transmission cooler line hose slid off yesterday while I was at a light. I gave it a little gas for a few seconds before I realized it wouldn't go. I assumed it emptied the transmission fluid so I put the hose back on and put 4 quarts in it. It still wouldn't move so I had it towed home on a flatbed and checked the fluid today and it appears it is overfilled but still won't move. It always worked well before with regular fluid and filter changes.and I am wondering if it was damaged because of the fluid leaking out. There was a large puddle of red transmission fluid from the hose where it quit. Any help is appreciated. If it is repairable I will get new transmission lines instead of repaired old ones!

The company I worked for shut down a facility in my town last November. I am/was a vested member of the Andersen Corporation Employees Pension and Retirement Plan and they say they have become part of the Morgan Pension Plan. I am 52 and at age 65 I was suppose to receive $210.57 a month for all my years of service. They say I am now required to take a full distribution of $1069.33! I don't understand how my whole plan is only worth about five months pay.
