Does anybody know why several warning lights came on in my 2012 Impala, then went out?

First the traction control, engine power reduction, and check engine light came on. It was not shifting into high gear, would barley run 70. I pulled over, shut it off, and it ran better and finially shifted into high. When I got off work, the engine light was the only one on and it ran great. It is 45 miles home, and by the time I shut it off a couple times in the driveway, all the lights were out. I restarted it a couple times and they are still out. I know I can't take it in unless the lights come back on. I never had that happen before. The gas cap seemed tight.
