1995 Buick Roadmaster won't move?

A homemade transmission cooler line hose slid off yesterday while I was at a light. I gave it a little gas for a few seconds before I realized it wouldn't go. I assumed it emptied the transmission fluid so I put the hose back on and put 4 quarts in it. It still wouldn't move so I had it towed home on a flatbed and checked the fluid today and it appears it is overfilled but still won't move. It always worked well before with regular fluid and filter changes.and I am wondering if it was damaged because of the fluid leaking out. There was a large puddle of red transmission fluid from the hose where it quit. Any help is appreciated. If it is repairable I will get new transmission lines instead of repaired old ones!

The cooler line is the return line for the fluid back to the pan so if it was off it would have emptied the entire transmission in a few minutes which would be more like 12 quarts.
