Getting them on - 0 Doesn't hurt at all

Later that day and a few days after - 2-3 They will be sore and you might not be able to eat anything solid

Afterwards they don't hurt at all. They might be a little sore after you get them tightened, but not really. Braces are nothing to worry about.

Also, getting them off was just like getting them on. Didn't hurt at all.

When you put them on, its just bothersome because you aren't used to it (1) then after like 3 hours of getting them on, they start to hurt a little bit (3) and by at least 5 hours, you are in pain depending on how severe your case is. (4-6). That's it though. Just when they tighten them.

Putting on braces: no pain just uncomfortable.

Having them: for me it hurt because my braces would get cough on my lips.

Taking them off: hurt, probably a 7

10 for the first time then it's whatever afterwards. It hurts a lot at first cause they tighten it super tight. And then you can't really eat solid food and just wanna rip your jaw out.
