Switched birth control time, period came early?

So I'm taking Azurette/Mircette (whatever you want to call it) and before when I started it in June 2010 I was taking it at 10 pm. Back in the beginning of October, I switched the time to 8 am (because it worked with my schedule better). My period came a day early, is the time switch the reason why?

That's a great possibility due to the fact that the hormonal amount from the pill has had a chance to either increase or decrease for a certain amount of time with the changing of the time of taking the pill.
