If Liberalism is a Mental Illness, can you provide concrete proof a Psychiatrist would be able to treat?

I see that a lot and it is getting old. I want to know the justification people use so it can be treated in a sane way. If you really think that, you can back it up with SCIENCE. We are dealing with illness, so I need some symptoms.

Stupid people say stupid things and I agree with you. Yet I am a conservative. I'm also a strong advocate for those that have true mental illnesses

Psychiatrists and psychologists really know what a mental illness means. They use scientific sources (ICD, DSM) and scientific methods instead of subjective points of view.

    Mental illness/disorder

According to IC-10, a mental disorder is a clinically recognizable collection of symptoms or behavior associated in most cases with distress or interference with personal functions.

That is just what we need. Then the government would make it part of ADA and liberals could get more free help to overcome the illness. Then they would have more special groups pop up. No I don't think so. Liberalism is a goofy ideology not a mental illness.

That's something I'd like to know too. Seeing as this only has 3 answers, I think it is not a real mental illness.
