On powerpoint 2007, how do i make a slide fly onto the screen, but then have a text box fly in with a different one.

1. To make the text box "fly in"
Click on the text box
Then click Animations
Then click custom animations
Then look right side and you'll see the various effects you have you can play with to get what you want.
2. To make the slide itself "fly in"
Make sure you're on the slide you want to change
Click animations
Look up and you'll see "Transition to this slide". Pick the transition you like. Be sure and click the down arrow that is there so you can see additional options to pick from (the arrow I'm talking about is to the left of the words "Transition Speed"). Once you have your transition selected then select the transition speed you want (click down arrow to select)
None of the above will be viewable until you run the slideshow. To test drive this just click "SLIDE SHOW" and then click "from the begining"
