British music, American music or Australian Music?

USA: Bob Dylan, The Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nirvana, Metalica, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash etc.

UK: The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, The Rolling Stones, The Who, David Bowie etc.

Australia: AC/DC (Sorry I can't think of any more) :(

So Which do you prefer?

    British music

Brits hands down have the best bands not sure why but the USA does not seem to create many top quality bands in recent years. Of course they have many greats such as kiss disturbed etc but they seem to be more fond of solo artists. Which is not a bad thing just an observation.

When you hear it aus music is good but thats only because the very best aussies can survive in the US/Brit dominated english music industry.

Japanese/Korean music can also be pretty decent its just dominated by corny boybands but don't let that put you off. Asian Kung Fu Generation - Rewrite is a good example of a killer eastern rock song.

or Koi me no Mega lover.

But overall I would say and I may very well be biased but I know of no British singers/bands that i dislike or do not respect.

When I look to America I think of the greats such as Johnny Cash, Hendrix, Kiss and many others but Then the production line artists just gives the USA a bad name.

Brits have production line folk aswell but they are usually from the Xfactor.

To me, I prefer British music, but it's all subjective.

I like british music because it leaves more of a "mark" on music rather than music from other countries. It personally influenced me to write my own music, because the style and creativity of british music is appealing to me. Though this isn't to say that American music and Australian music is not good. I don't find as much bands from Australia, and most of the bands in the US are just "okay" to me, but I respect anyone that becomes a musician, no matter what country they are from.

Anyways, in terms of influence, and personal interest, I would have to choose music from the UK.

American Music fo sho. Some of the most influential music genres of all time came from there. Things like Blues, Jazz, and Gangsta Rap.

I generally enjoy American music much more, although I'm not a particularly huge fan of any of the artists you named for any area.
