I have requested an invite through the Pinterest website, but have only received an email stating that I am on the waiting list. Rumor has it that it is easier if someone invites you. Is this true? How long can I expect to be on the waiting list? Is anyone willing to send me an invite? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I just went to the site and signed up, maybe because I linked Pinterest to my twitter. Just try it.
