What is it about the Big Bang and Evolution?

I see a lot of questions here from religious people trying to disprove either the Big Bang, Evolution, or both. I really don't get the logic there.

Ok, let's assume that you got an advanced physics degree... studied planetary motion, mathematics, and all the other things that go into the Big Bang theory and actually found a repeatable experiment or formula that nullified the Big Bang...

OR let's say you got a molecular biology degree.. a genetics degree, an archeology degree, etc...etc... and you found some situation that completely nullified the mountains and mountains of evidence for evolution...

Neither of those things would be proof of the existence of gods... It would simply mean that those two theories are wrong. It would mean that WE DON'T KNOW some things we thought we knew. But there's nothing in that statement "I don't know" that implies the existence of a divine being. It simply means I don't know. So, what is it about those two long-held theories that offends you so much?

exactly, they think that by disproving evolution ( something they fail to do) will prove god, but it wont

I'm not offended by the theories that state that there is Evolution and the Big Bang Theory, a matter of fact "theory" often means "imperfect fact", only because of the mountains of evidence that have been discovered and studied in the laboratories.

And of course if one day these theories/imperfect facts become perfect facts they won't be theories any longer and most likely upset the religious community.

Update; When the universe, galaxy and our solar system was being created, do you think for one moment God was creating quietly? of course not!!! It must have been a very noisy place when God had created everything. I bet anything it was so loud it would have caused many explosive Big Bangs during the whole process. So there you go the Big Bang!

As my Catholic Faith, I too am personally open to these 2 theories. In fact, a Catholic Priest, Monseigneur Georges Lemaitre, was the one who proposed what is now known as the Big Bang Theory.

The difference between you and me is that I believe that God would, like in everything else, play a predominant role in both these theories. As for other believers who aren't open to these theories, it is probably because they think that in being open to them, they are most likely shutting God out---which is far from the truth. I can understand why these types of questions from believers may be annoying for you---heck, I'm a believer and I get annoyed when I see them.

They conflict with a direct interpretation of most religious histories. God apparently created everything in its current form, particularly man. Really, it's not hard to imagine that a god created a Big Bang and designed a universe where evolution is the natural order. However, those who take texts like the Bible 100% literally see these two theories as complete challenges to their faith.

yet in case you reject the teachings of the Bible, and all different holy books that contain a creation tale, the position does your perception contained in the existence of a god come from - and what form does your worship take? also: "you are able to not make something out of not something even as some debris collide out of not something and create an explosion so large that creates the universe, someone or something had to be there to create it" Um... so the position did God come from initially?

The overwhelming majority of evolution deniers do so from a religious perspective. Religion is not about facts, it's about emotions. It doesn't matter that facts and logical explanations are presented; evolution to them is simply unacceptable, period.

I am a Christian, I accept both theories.

You're demonstrated that you don't know much about either one.

The Big Bang and evolution theories are baloney.
