    It's absolutely sodden with tears - how did you know ?

    Mainly my own stupidity at letting someone get under my skin who really doesn't feel the same about me as I feel about them.

    In fact I'm not sure whether or not they feel anything for me at all :'(

    You would think that at my age I would know better, but it appears that there really is no fool like an old fool.
