Will my computer play battlefield 3?

Question

Here are my specs:

Cpu: You Have: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
Ram: 2 gb
Os: Windows 7

Video card: GeForce 8400GS   << problem area.

I have tried system requirements lab and it says no although when it says the minimum required compared to my card, I actually have the minimum required:

	Vertex Shader version 	4.0 (ATI 4.1) 	4.1 

So it says the graphics card is not suitable but I have all the required attributes.
Can any one help?

Ya of course, why not? IN MEDIUM GRAPHICS!!!

You do have some of the requirements to play the game however it says you need "NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GT or higher performance" you only have the 8400GS you fall down on the fact your graphics card just doesn't have the performance.
The 8800 is the high end version of the G8 series and the 8400 is entry level.

The only thing you can do is upgrade your graphics card I'm afraid and to play it properly it will need to be fairly new so like a Â£100+, and an update to 4GB ram wouldn't hurt either
