Why is so hard to talk to his man?

I been with my Bf 4 about 20 months. We are in our earley 40's . We been living together for a 3 months.

He's really wonderfu... I am really in love with this man. I have waited my whole life for man like him to come in my life. I kind of think he feels the same way ..Its bugs me I have to guess. But its just really hard to get him to open up..I feel we could be some much closer.WE both been hurt b4 . I understand that. But we been together together for almost 2 yrs.

He doesn't know it hurts my feeling when . I say something like your the man I been waiting for all my life..

He replies was" I am?" I think I caught him of guard we really don't talk about are feeling much. & I don't say this things everyday..We Always tell each we love each other. I hope we are on the same page. How can you tell he really into you are not.. I mean he did give up his place to move in with me. that's saying something Right?
