I have some questions about cleaning my carpet?

Using water seeps into pad whether you do it yourself or have it professionally done. Commercial rug cleaning companies now offer other options that do not use water. Worth the money and gives carpet longevity.

I have not noticed my carpeting getting any dirtier or dirtying any quicker as a result of cleaning it. The carpet is off white so I would notice if it were dirtying up quickly. What you might notice is that any stains that have gotten deep down into the carpeting and padding ( like when someone spills a drink or sippy cup ) the stains will leech up over time. Even if it looks clean once you're done cleaning up after the inital spill, over time you will see the stain leeching up to the surface and will have to clean it again.

It doesn't have to end up this way if you thoroughly clean your carpets. Most professional companies have all of the tools to make sure your carpet can become brighter for longer periods of time. They should also be able to give you tips to put into effect in between shampooing.

The simple answer is to clean with hot water.

I use a $1 store cleaner called Awesome. Then follow with a vinegar water rise.

If you want to keep it clean take your shoes off before you enter the home.
