I want to get some people to our gaming clan web site, whats a good way to get traffic?

Where are good places to go to spread the word about a "new" clan... This is for battlefield3, we have already been to the EA forums for recruiting, but im sure you guys can give me better and possibly more creative ways to get the word out. Im not trying to change the world with this clan, but we do want some where that actually has people admin the game server. 90% dont, or do it poorly. Any how your suggestions are greatly appreciated. If your a gamer, please feel free to email me for the clan name.

We actually did look at facebook advertising, but my buddy said it was 70cents a click? We might do it for 5, where did you see that at?

I def like the idea about youtube, I did that for the last clan I was in, we made some fun vids ill have to try that again, but make it like a recruiting video. Thx.

    I'm sure you already do this but just in case you don't. What about in game recruiting? Have a few recruiters that you know can pick out good players and get them to actively recruit players in game.

    in case you examine all the above solutions you have have been given the respond? (see how everybody is spamming with their beside the point internet site urls. ) what are you thinking? unsolicited mail..? No. dont even think of roughly it it harm ur internet site somewhat than giving any solid.

    there are probably hundreds of those on different websites, maybe you'll meet people on xbox live or psn and get them to join once the game comes out of course :)
