Have you had problems with DG Solicitors in debt collection cases?

DG Solicitors of Edgbaston, Birmingham, are a debt collection service for HSBC Bank. They are now known to have used inappropriate, misleading information to seek to recover debts. For example, they have stated or implied that DG Solicitors is a regulated firm of solicitors. In fact, they are an unregulated debt collection company (Limited). DG Solicitors are known to have breached numerous regulations imposed by the SRA and OFT. To enable the OFT to take appropriate action to prevent DG Solicitors from continuing to so act, it is necessary to identify other debtors to whom DG Solicitors have stated or implied that DG Solicitors is a regulated firm of solicitors or is regulated by the Law Society or Solicitors Regulation Authority. Also, have you been served with a County Court Claim on which the Claimant is shown to be represented by DG Solicitors as 'Claimants Solicitor'. If you have fallen victim to the dubious activities of this Company, please forward initial contact details, together with a BRIEF resume to acsadvice@yahoo.co.uk

I have had a County Court claim against me with DG Solicitors representing as the "claimants solicitor" for HSBC. I also have several letters with them claiming to be a firm of solicitors.

Its true that they lie, ie making a false expenses claim in basildon county court for £500 to be added to the amount claimed with no schedule of costs or proof. Is there any action that I can take against them for this?

They also ignore any issues raised regarding the claim and do not enter into any dialogue which is what a debt collector would do, not a solicitor.
