Why does my OLD piercing scar hurt?
I had my ear pierced 10 years ago and took it out weeks later. Its been healed and forgotten about all this time. Now as I am preparing to get both ears pierced I have gotten a strange pimply bump on the back of my lobe and I get a moderate pain when I pinch down on the lobe where my piercing was. Any ideas why it would happen after 10 years?

Well, I'm guessing it has nothing to do with the old piercing. More likely it's an abscess, as those tend to occur on the back of earlobes. Wait for it to go away, and if it gets bigger, you might have to go to the doctor to get it checked out.

maximum parlors won't pierce over scar tissue, purely because of the fact that's greater solid to pierce. different than that there is not any danger, and if that's a lip piercing, then it purely isn't major. purely somewhat purple once you're taking it out. -O.Dizzle
