Why does spell check not want me to put Jesus's name in singular possessive?
It wants a plural possessive. He is one.

Maybe spell check is an atheist.
That would explain why so many Christians aren't that great at spelling.

If there is an s on the end of a word the plural is es. If it denotes posession is it Jesus'. So for more than one a sentence would read....... Ex. There are three people named Jesus at my school. NOT There are three Jesuses at my school.
