If I remember correctly, you have to edit the css for the td.
the style would be something like <td border-top-style="none"> or if you have your css at the top (or if it is a separate css page) td border-top-style:none
use:
top
bottom
right
left

use style tag in td for remove any border
any border bottom , top, right , left can be remove by style tag where you have to select style="border-top:none;"
