idk what to do with my webcam. help?

igot a webcam that goes with my ps3 & it has a USB port with it. so ihooked it up to my computer so icould skype. but it wouldn't let me & idk why? what should ido ?

    Most webcams for gaming systems have special drivers for them. Try looking up in google "how to use *NAME OF WEBCAM* on a computer"
