how many racing cars [f1,indy,wrc...............] are UK based?

    F1 is an european sport,infact the first cars were Alfa Romeo,Bugatti then Porsche,Ferrari,and the athers...

    Can't help with WRC cars, but there are no Indy cars based there. The majority of F1 teams are based there. The only F1 teams not based in the U.K. are Ferrari, HRT, Toro Rosso, and Sauber.

    I read in a book a few years ago that about 80% of the world's motorsport industry is based in the UK
