Compare the oldest known bible which is the Codex Siniaticus to th Authorised King James Bible and tell me there has been no change,

The church changed the content of Bibles [call Codex then] adding and removing books until we have what we know now.

But not all bibles contain the Apocrypha

The original Bible,or what people call the Old Testament , Tanach in Hebrew. This has never changed. It has been preserved by the Jewish people in hand written scrolls for thousands of years. The 5 books of Moses called the Torah which is read every Sabbath,Monday ,Thursday and Festival and extracts from the other books now read in printed form has been kept letter perfect for all these years. The Dead Sea scrolls ,which are 2000 years old ,are exactly the same as the Pentateuch which was the first translation almost 2000 years ago and the Bible that we have in Hebrew.

There are however many different translations from the Hebrew. Also the divisions are slightly different, but this is currently being corrected.

For thousands of years Jewish scholars have discussed the exact meanings of the Bible and recorded their interpretation of G-D's word. This is an enormous literature available to any serious scholar. The original Hebrew is unbelievably beautiful, besides being filled with inspiration and deeper meaning than any translation. To read and hear the exact words that the Lord used is so much more spiritual and moving. And this is why every letter of these words have never been changed.

However a very good translation by a person who understands the original words as well as a human being can and who knows all the commentaries can come as close to the authentic words as man can.

May you be blessed by drinking of the waters of his Word!

Just because the author calls it a Bible, doesn't mean it is. People disagree with something, write a new version that fits their belief. For English speakers, the Bible is the King James version. There are something like 160 other "Bibles" out there but they are only Bibles by name. Many of them do it for financial reasons. In order to have a copy right the work has to be at least 10% unique. The name BIBLE is loosely used. I have seen the marketing Bible, Sports Bible and so on. Bible means BOOK. There are many books out there but they are not Scripture.

I can write Physics on a coloring book, it doesn't make it anymore of a textbook that it was with another name.

There are several versions of the bible. However, the King James bible is said to be the closest to the original English language translation in it's parallel to the original transcripts from the Aramaic, Latin and Greek language accounts of biblical history. This form of the bible does not, of itself change at all unless someone adds or subtracts from it. There are other translations but none of them actually changes. It is the people who interpret it who make the bible appear to change to the layman by adding their own personal spins to it's contents. When it comes to the bible, which was handed down from the beginning of written history in North Africa, with the hieroglyphics of Egyptians and the scribes of the nomadic Jews who settled in the area of Africa which some people now describe as the "Middle East", the word of God is already written and will never change because the bible forbids anyone to detract or to add anything other than what's already there.

I'm not sure. I think it may be more easily understood. The link below is one place I go when I question something from different versions. No matter the version the original word is there to reference.

This may be a big concern, possibly even sad...why would dictionary definitions change? What are we loosing?

When a Protestant has a hissy-fit and disagrees with what they think Christianity is all about,

they break off and form their own cult, and rewrite the Bible to the way they want it.

That's why we have 100,000 different cults of this demonic religion.

Xns, not god change the Bible to fit their hedonistic lifestyles.

stuff and nonsense rules the land it would seem. all bibles are occult or esoteric of hidden as such for they do not even today convey the truth to the masses and it was meant to be so for obvious reasons you will be certain of. as for changes well many there are who do so control these masses and then the books become adjusted to suit the times.
